What is institute?

The Institute of Religion is a collegiate level religious program where young adults ages 18-35 can attend classes to draw closer to their Savior Jesus Christ. Classes are offered M-F, based on all books of scripture, teachings of modern-day prophets and church history.

This program helps all young adults follow President Russell M. Nelson’s invitation to “Hear Him” on a daily basis and to learn ways to “Let God Prevail” in their life. Everyone is welcome, any faith, any gender, single and married, student and non-student, 18-35 years old. Come anytime and as often as you can. You are wanted here.

WHO CAN ATTEND INSTITUTE?

Anyone ages 18-35 are welcome to join any Institute class at any time. We have classes in Spanish and Portuguese and we also offer an Adaptive Needs class!

How do I register?

DO I HAVE TO REGISTER TO ATTEND A CLASS?

Nope, just come! Attend any class, any time, whether you are registered or not.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ATTEND INSTITUTE?

All classes are absolutely FREE!

DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF THE CHURCH TO ATTEND A CLASS?

Nope, just come! Come whenever and as often as you'd like. You are welcome here.

WHAT ABOUT CLASS CREDIT AND GRADUATION?

Working to receive credit for a class is entirely up to you. Credit goes toward Institute graduation (total of 14 credits). To graduate, you need 8 cornerstone credits and 6 elective credits for a total of 14 credits. Come to the office for help with all things graduation!
